Established in 1948, The Nautical Research Guild is a non-profit educational organization focused on helping our members raise the quality of their model shipcraft.

The Model Shipwrights of Niagara (aka MSON) is a scale model ship building club for like-minded people of any skill level; from novice to professional. Our club is physically located in Niagara-on-the-Lake (aka NOTL), Ontario, Canada, but our membership is global, without borders. While our emphasis is on display models, including kits and scratch built, members also have interests in building in paper, wood and plastic, pond and R/C models.
The Society of Model Shipwrights of the UK The Society of Model Shipwrights exists to encourage and support all those, from complete beginner to expert, who wish to construct ship models, dioramas and models of nautical equipment true to scale and to a high standard of accuracy and detail. It also promotes research and marine painting.
